VH Notification
The VH Notification message is used in the vehicle re-registration business process.
If a vehicle is exported from one EUCARIS Member State to another, the VH Notification message is created by the new Member State to inform the former Member State that the vehicle has been re-registered.
The message can also be used to inform the Member State of Registration of an attempted re-registration that has been rejected.
The message is exchanged between the new Member State and the former Member State.
To create a VH Notification message, the new Member State can use a custom client application (a self-built application) or EUCARIS web client.
Exchange is asynchronously, i.e. the message arrives in the download queue of the former Member State.
The former Member State can either retrieve the message from the download queue (using a custom client application, or use EUCARIS web client), or it can configure EUCARIS to forward the message to a domestic system for processing. Processing a VH Notification message results in the end of registration of the notified vehicle.
An accept notification message consists of the following data elements:
- The VIN and Make of the vehicle
- The registration number in the former Member State
- The new registration number
- The date of re-registration (and the issue of the new vehicle registration certificate)
- (optional) Remarks about the new registration
- (optional) Remarks about the old number plates
- (optional) Remarks about the old vehicle registration certificate
A reject notification message consists of the following data elements:
- The VIN and Make of the vehicle
- The registration number in the former Member State
- One or more reasons why re-registration was rejected
