This extension adds the ProDrivenet functionality to EUCARIS, and is deployed by EUCARIS System Updates. General information about system Updates can be found here.

Requirements

This extension requires:

Web client plugin

A web client extension for ProDriveNet will become available for the EUCARIS web client (prognoses April 2021). This extension has to be installed separately.

Service plugin

This extension installs the required service plugin and adds the ProDriveNet services, authorisation, logging, and XSDs to the EUCARIS core. After installation EUCARIS is able to receive and transfer ProDriveNet messages.

Installation

The required System Update must be installed prior to this extension. The installation process is described in detail in the “EUCARIS – Installation and Operation Manual.pdf” document, available on this site.

Upgrade notes

This is a cumulative update. Previous ProDriveNet System Updates do not have to be uninstalled prior to this update. Any existing translated languages, local services configuration, user profiles and logging configuration is retained.

Testing

The NL test & acceptance server will be available for testing ProDriveNet messages. Please contact EUCARIS OPerations if you want to start testing.

  • This is the first release of the ProDriveNet service plugin. It contains the IssuedCPC messageservice. This service can be used to send a synchronous ProDriveRequest message. The recipient can respond with a ProDriveResponse message. Both messages should be contained in a EucarisEnvelope. To send a ProDriveRequest message, the new webservice MessageService should be used (instead of the GenericService). For the time being, Memberstates can only inquire themselves, since all traffic to other memberstates shall be conducted through the EC Hub. This functionality isn’t available yet in Eucaris, but will follow soon.
