This extension adds the RSI functionality to EUCARIS, and is deployed by EUCARIS System Updates. General information about system Updates can be found here.

Background

The RSI messages (v1.0) supports the automated exchange of information about a vehicle in the country where the vehicle is registered. The exchange is routed via the European Commission’s Central Hub only. The information will include if a vehicle has failed a technical inspection.

The technical inspection should by based on the legislation.

This extension requires:

Web client plugin

The new EUCARIS web client fully supports the EUCARIS RSI messages.

Service plugin

This extension installs the required service plugin and adds the RSI services, authorisation, logging, and XSDs to the EUCARIS core. After installation EUCARIS is able to receive and transfer RSI messages.

Installation

The  EUCARIS Core Update SU-U30 or higher must be installed prior to the installation of this extension. The installation process is described in detail in the “EUCARIS – Installation and Operation Manual.pdf” document, available on this site. To be able to communicate with countries connected to RSI (ERRU-net), the EUCARIS Broker Core Components and EUCARIS Broker RSI extension must be installed and configured. These components are included in the EUCARIS Core and this Extension.

Upgrade notes

This is a cumulative update. Any previous System Updates do not have to be uninstalled prior to this update. Any existing translated languages, local services configuration, user profiles and logging configuration is retained.

The NL test & acceptance server will be available for testing EUCARIS RSI messages. Please contact EUCARIS Operations if you want to start testing.
