NSV2AVI

The EUCARIS Transformer service support the transformation of NSVData requests to AVI requests. This allows a country to connect to the NonSensitive Vehicle Data service, without building a local data service to support the NonSensitive Vehicle Data service. The AVI local data service will be used to retrieve the information from the local register.

To enable this functionality, the following should be done:

• The EUCARIS Core version should be SU-U57 or newer
• The latest NSVData plugin must be installed
• EUCARIS Operations should be informed in order to set the correct authorizations
• Configure the EUCARIS Transformer URL (this only has to be done when your country isn’t connected to RESPER 2.0)
• Create endpoint usage for the NSVData local data service

Configure the EUCARIS Transformer URL

Open the Configuration Tool, select File -> Load Configuration Update -> Reload latest downloaded Configuration Update from the menu.

In the following screen, the URL of the EUCARIS Transformer URL needs to be filled in, in the bottom right section.

Fill in the default URL for the Internal Services (http://localhost:8084/EUCARIS.Internal) and press ‘Test’.

If this address is valid and active the following message is shown:

Once the URL is filled in and tested, press ‘Update now’ in the bottom right and continue to Configure the NSVData local data service

If the URL is incorrect, the following message is shown:

If the above is shown, please follow these steps to enter the correct URL.

• Open the IIS Manager on the EUCARIS server.
• Navigate to the site EUCARIS.Internal.v7 -> EUCARIS.Internal

• Right click with the mouse pointer on EUCARIS.Internal and switch to Content view in the pop-up menu.
• Select the TransformerMessageService.asmx and right click with the mouse pointer TransformerMessageService.asmx. Select Browse from the pop-up menu.
• A browser will open with an URL like http://xxxyyyzz/EUCARIS.Internal/TransformerMessageService.asmx.

Note: xxxyyyzzz is an placeholder and not the actual address

•  Please select the following part of the URL http://xxxyyyzz/EUCARIS.Internal and copy this part.
• Paste this URL in the input field of the EUCARIS Transformer URL of the in the EUCARIS Configuration Tool. Press test again. If done correctly, the following message is shown:

Once the URL is filled in and tested, press ‘Update now’ in the bottom right and continue to Configure the NSVData local data service

After applying the changes, the configuration of NSV2AVI is completed. The changes are effective after a couple of minutes.
